Wow, I am amazed by some of the GREAT suggestions that Wavers are making for this competition! And the enthusiasm, too! So I have a follow-up question - aside from all the requisite free copies of Final Draft and lifetime supply of brads, what kind of experience or item would you LIKE to see as a prize in a competition? I think the broadly outlined Grand Prize is clearly pretty darn cool - what about 2nd and 3rd place prizes?

2nd and 3rd place winner should definitely have their winning scripts shopped around Hollywood.
Also, a luncheon with an A-list/B-list writer would be lovely.

2. A half-hour or more on the phone with a working screenwriter for the opportunity to ask anything about the business and the writer's work.
A script consultation on the script entered or another one down the road (like a gift certificate) - or like a package with logline, query letter, treatment, script notes... help along the whole process.
Free coverage by two or more members of TSD.
Industry magazine subscriptions.
Pitch coaching.
- Help with shopping scripts
- Consultation on markets to target
- Choice of notes, phone consult or cupcakes for a year:)

can people living overseas enter, i.e. does the grand prize include an international flight or only a domestic one? (Pretty generous comp if the former!)
